An up and coming artist out of LA, dRvA just hit me with his debut single, appropriately titled, Spliff.  Loving the lyrics.  A 100% relatable circumstance.  Can’t wait till he drops a video for this track, does someone smell a viral hit? I do.  Unlike pop hip hop artists these day, dRvA prefers to speak from the “anti-hero perspective (with plenty of humorous embellishment), coming from a philosophy of simplicity and honesty, focusing on everyday 20-somethings.”  Well, I’m an everyday 20-something, and I can relate, so looks like it’s working thus far.  His LP, titled High Tops & Hand Rolls, is slated to be finished within the next 3-4 months, so stay tuned.
