There aren’t many producers/remixers out there as consistent and awesome as Classixx. I was lucky enough to chill on stage and watch them spin at a private college graduation party back in May, which they killed, of course. Unlike most remixers of their kind, they stay, most of the time, under 120 bpm, which is quite refreshing for a change. I used their banger of a track, Cold Act Ill, as an appropriate opener for my first mix, Disco 2.0, as well as their remix of Beni’s My Love Sees You. For this post though, I’ve chosen two slower remixes they did, one for Shwayze, and one for Phoenix. These are two cases where, in my opinion, they’ve taken solid songs and made them even better. Well done guys, and as always, excited for the next time I see your name come up in my RSS feeds. Check out some more of their work here.
